We are a small business disability support service provider that values clients as individuals and prioritises building a positive and safe environment.
We, as a team, approach our work with compassion and empathy, as well as honesty and integrity. Support assistance is a rewarding and satisfying occupation. Our support assistants come from various backgrounds, with unique tastes and quirks, and an array of previous professions and experiences.

The Role:
At MCAS we refer to our staff as support assistants. We believe that this can help protect the dignity of the person with a disability so that instead of requiring a worker they have an assistant to facilitate learning and community access.
As a disability support assistant for MCAS, you will be providing a range of support towards our client(s).
Generally, the role will require you to assist clients with their independence and integration into the community. This will involve a range of activities that are consistent with the client's personal interest, therefore, they can vary depending on who you are working with.
Work activities can include attending fun events (e.g. gigs, festivals, markets etc.) or, more simply, going for drives, walks, cooking, movies, games etc. There are little to no limitations! You can use your imagination and we are there to guide you when you need. The role can also involve personal care work.
The hours of work we can provide to you are very flexible, whether it's 5 or 35 a week!
